5-minute dispatch prices · data to 13 Sep 2026 00:10 · rebuilt 2026-09-12 14:12
Rolling 7-day sum of 5-minute prices. The CPT line is a staircase, not a constant: it is re-indexed to CPI every 1 July, so it steps up each financial year. It is the same value in every region — a NEM-wide reliability setting, not a regional one. Administered pricing ($600/MWh) applies above it.
The CPT sits an order of magnitude above normal trading, so putting both on one axis flattens the actual series into the floor and hides everything worth seeing in it. Fit to data scales to the series and reports the headroom in words; Show CPT puts the threshold on the axis when you want the distance to it. The window high and low are marked.
